An evening of songs and storytelling inspired by the swing and melodies of gypsy jazz, adorned by the storytelling spirit of Anglo-Celtic folk and spiced with a gentle nod to rootsy blues.
Experienced performers, Scratchy Beard are an up-beat and enjoyable live quartet.
7 May, 5am Creswell Crags
Experience the Crags' early morning symphony of bird song with resident ornithologist, Jack Baddams, who will introduce you to each of the avian songsters who make the site their home.
You’ll need to set your alarm early as the dawn chorus walk will leave the centre at 5am.
This year you have an option to enjoy an overnight oats breakfast after the walk at the café terrace.

14 May, 10am to 3pm Shirebrook Market Place
Shirebrook's annual classic vehicle and auto jumble returns to the Market Place on Sunday 14 May.
There will be a huge variety of cars on display with a prize for the best on show. Children can enjoy a free bouncy castle and there will be refreshments on sale throughout the day.
Don't miss the auto jumble to pick up bits and bobs for your own vehicle or vintage toy cars and memorabilia.

6 May Old Bolsover Yard
Enjoy a day of crafting at Old Bolsover Yard. Activities will include Pom-Pom garland decorations, a knitted celebration bear, rag wreath garlands along with some colouring in activities for the youngsters and young at heart.
There will also be drinks and snacks throughout the day. All activities will be free to attend but some will require booking.
