In January 2014, a 23-year old woman from Creswell suffered a severe brain stem stroke caused by a blood clot in her Basilar Artery and she was immediately rushed into emergency surgery.
This devastating illness has left Ruth with locked in syndrome and she needs to raise £100,000 to be able to access brain stem cell treatment in the USA!
Local voluntary organisation Community Unity Project (CUP) has joined the campaign and has pledged to help raise the money in 2023.
