The Government have changed how you can vote. For the first time, residents will need to show photographic ID to vote at this year’s local elections in May.
And residents are being urged to make sure they are ready to vote by checking they have an accepted form of ID.

A £100 Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) has been paid for a littering offence in Clowne.
During a routine patrol of the District, one of our Enforcement Officers witnessed the driver of a vehicle throw the litter from their vehicle window.

Clowne is a unique town, in that it once had two collieries and two railway lines that served its residents.
With the majority of this history now only able to be seen in the archives, Clowne Local History Society have started a project to bring a bit of this heritage back to life. Bolsover TV went along to see how the project was progressing.
