Slapstick Picnic would like to cordially invite you to its summer tea party, where marvellous feats of performance and culinary capers await.
Over tea and cucumber sandwiches, we ask that you prepare to witness the impossible - the entirety of Oscar Wilde's classic play of manners, affairs and handbags.
From the creators of The Handlebards comes a fantastically wild(e) new production, ripping up the recipe book and celebrating silliness. With Slapstick Picnic, you can have your cake and eat it.
This is an outdoor production, so please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to dig into, and dress for the weather!
27 to 29 August, 10am to 5pm Bolsover Castle
Experience the exhilarating spectacle of speed and skill as four legendary knights compete for honour and glory in the Grand medieval Joust. See lance shatter, feel the thunder of hooves and hear the roar of the crowd as reputations are won and lost.
Fearless fighters and their magnificent horses will charge at each other at full speed in an unforgettable display of chivalry and sheer courage.
Choose your champion and cheer them on to victory - or console them in defeat.
