The £150 Energy Rebate Payments have started to be paid to households who pay their Council Tax by Direct Debit, with over 22,000 payments paid into bank accounts on 11th May 2022.
We are still undertaking verification checks on the remaining Direct Debit accounts and these payments will be made to verified accounts as soon as possible.
Please do not contact us if you have not yet received your payment as they are being done in batches, will take a number of weeks to complete and we need to undertake the necessary security checks to ensure a household is eligible.

On 26 September 1950, Creswell Colliery was hit by a coal mining tragedy which claimed the lives of eighty miners.
The mining memorial commemorating those who lost their lives had to be moved to allow for the expansion of the cemetery so Elmton-with-Creswell Parish Council have sensitively and lovingly recreated a new memorial in the cemetery.

Bolsover Town under sevens have been crowned North Derbyshire Football League Cup champions after they beat Chesterfield FC 8-2 at Alfreton Town ground with goals from Eli, Thomas, Kai and Grayson.
We spoke to the managers and players about the victory.
