Golden decade planned for Birmingham!
We’ve published our new draft financial plan, which is designed to maximise the potential of a golden decade for the city. The plan focuses on early intervention and prevention to level-up life chances for Birmingham people.

Removal of Plan B Covid measures
Plan B Covid measures are being lifted. People are no longer advised to work from home and, from 27 January, face coverings will no longer be mandatory indoors, and NHS COVID Passes will be voluntary for large events. Please continue to be cautious: wash your hands, let fresh air in, get tested, self-isolate if positive, and wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed settings.
City leads way in transforming lives campaign
Birmingham has been chosen as 1 of 12 international cities to participate in the Inform Women, Transform Lives campaign, which aims to ensure women can access information. Birmingham is the only UK city to be included in this global campaign.
