The occasion was marked by local leaders and key stakeholders in the project earlier this month as they gathered to launch the next phase of the development.
Visitors to the town centre will be able to see regular progress on site over the coming months as a new building is constructed that will host impressive facilities, including a climbing wall, indoor adventure play area, and a bowling alley.

In 2025 Worksop Together community engagement involved 700 people who live, learn or work in Worksop.
Their feedback shaped the priorities included in the Worksop Together investment plan which successfully secured funding in April 2026.
One of the top 20 priorities identified in 2025 was the need for more events in the town centre.
Worksop Together board is now exploring opportunities to bring more events to Worksop and would like to hear your views on the type of events you would like to see.
Your feedback will help the board to understand what you want, what barriers exist, and how future events can be designed to better meet local needs.
