 Postal Vote Reapplication
Following changes introduced by the Elections Act 2022, postal voters are now required to reapply for their postal vote every three years.
All postal voters who made their current application before 31 October 2023 are required to reapply for their postal vote by 31 January 2026.

Bassetlaw District Council has launched a new website to showcase the district as a place where businesses thrive, careers grow and communities' flourish.
Called ‘Invest in Bassetlaw’ www.investinbassetlaw.co.uk, it highlights the area’s strengths as a destination for growth innovation and sustainable development as well as providing business support opportunities.
The new website offers detailed insights into commercial sites, regeneration schemes, and grants currently available, alongside success stories and testimonials.

 Foundation Classes in Conservation Crafts
Pinnacle Conservation are delivering a free skill-based heritage construction programme.
The classes are open to Bassetlaw residents (16+), students and employees. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials and safety equipment will be provided.
Develop knowledge and skills relating to:
- Stonemasonry
- Conservation works
- Heritage joinery
- Plastering
The deadline to register your interest is 28th July 2025.

Inspire College
Inspire College prepares young people not just for work, but for life! The courses and supportive tutors help to build confidence, gain qualifications and learn important life and employability skills - for the world outside of College.
Inspire College has a number of Entry 3, Level 1 and 2 courses with places available for 16 to 19-year-olds (up to 24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan) for a September 2025.
