The first one of these events is fast approaching and will be a fantastic opportunity for tenants to come and meet with members of the Housing Team and our partners, find out what is going on in the world of housing and enjoy a lovely buffet, all provided for free.
The first Meet the Team and Tenant Conference event will be held on Monday 23rd June, 10am to 2pm, at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford, DN22 7BD.

There are lots of opportunities for tenants to come along to our groups over the next month. Whether you want to speak to someone from housing to raise an issue or if you just want to come for a coffee, biscuit and a chat, there is a group for you.
Last month we supported tenants with issues such as addressing a vermin issue in a community, supporting an elderly resident with a ramp repair to her property and much more. So, if you’re not sure where to go with an issue, please come to one of our meetings and we will be on hand to support you.
See the below list for some of the events on offer over the next month.

Healthy Neighbourhood Inspection Pop-Up
On Tuesday 29th April we had our first pop-up event during the Healthy Neighbourhood Inspection that took place on the Harworth Whimpey estate. The event went down perfectly, with the help of some sunshine, and we spoke to 11 residents about local issues and questions about their own tenancies.
Please keep an eye on social media, our website and this newsletter for future pop-up events.

Healthy Neighbourhood Inspections help us to look for things that will improve your communities, such as removing graffiti, tackling overgrown gardens, and resolving parking issues.
Each area has at least one inspection per year, and they are carried out by your Housing Officer. People from other council departments, Nottinghamshire Police and other agencies may also attend, so that specific problems can be addressed.
We want tenants to be part of these inspections, even if it is just for your street or to raise an individual issue, after all it is your estate, and nobody knows it better than you.
Please join us at one of the inspections that take place over the next month:
