Employer Breakfast Engagement Event - RNN

When: Thursday 5th June 2025, 9am-10.30am Where: National Fluid Power Centre, Turner Road, Worksop, S81 7AE Network with local businesses over breakfast and hear from business leaders and the RNN Group CEO & Principal, Jason Austin, about exciting developments available to local businesses. The event will also have a presentation from Amion, who are coordinating the Bassetlaw Skills and Employment Audit. UKSPF Growth Grant

Bassetlaw Growth Grant Now Open for Applications!

We’re pleased to announce that the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Growth Grant is now open for applications — offering up to £4,000 to help local businesses grow and thrive.

This grant is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Bassetlaw District that are ready to take the next step in their growth journey.

✅ Are You Eligible?

To apply, your business must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Be located and operating within Bassetlaw District
2. Employ no more than 150 employees
3. Have been operating for 3 years or more
4. Not have applied in previous funding rounds
5. Have business premises and either:
   • Pay business rates to Bassetlaw District Council, or
   • Claim Small Business Rate Relief (SBR)
6. Have engaged with a Business Adviser at Bassetlaw District Council, who has identified a need for grant support

💷 What’s Available?

• A maximum grant of £4,000 is available per business.
• No match funding is required, but if your proposed activities exceed the grant value, you’ll need to fund the difference.

UKSPF High Street Support Grant

🏬 High Street Business Support Grant – Applications Now Open!

If you’re a small or micro business operating in Bassetlaw, you may be eligible to apply for a UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) grant of up to £4,000 to help bring your business improvement plans to life.

This grant is designed to support businesses that have already engaged with the programme and have a clear action plan in place.

✅ Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, your business must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Be a micro or small enterprise (employing up to 49 people)
2. Operate independently on the high street or elsewhere within Bassetlaw District
3. Have engaged in support through the High Street Business Support Programme
4. Have a robust action plan developed with a Business Adviser, identifying a need for grant funding
5. Not have received this grant in a previous round

💷 What’s Available?

• A maximum grant of £4,000 is available per business
• No match funding is required, but if your proposed activities exceed the grant value, you’ll need to fund the difference
