Bassetlaw Growth Grant Now Open for Applications!
We’re pleased to announce that the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Growth Grant is now open for applications — offering up to £4,000 to help local businesses grow and thrive.
This grant is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Bassetlaw District that are ready to take the next step in their growth journey.
✅ Are You Eligible?
To apply, your business must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be located and operating within Bassetlaw District
- Employ no more than 150 employees
- Have been operating for 3 years or more

Not have applied in previous funding rounds
- Have business premises and either:
- Pay business rates to Bassetlaw District Council, or
- Claim Small Business Rate Relief (SBR)
- Have engaged with a Business Adviser at Bassetlaw District Council, who has identified a need for grant support
💷 What’s Available?
- A maximum grant of £4,000 is available per business.

No match funding is required, but if your proposed activities exceed the grant value, you’ll need to fund the difference.

🏬 High Street Business Support Grant – Applications Now Open!
If you’re a small or micro business operating in Bassetlaw, you may be eligible to apply for a UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) grant of up to £4,000 to help bring your business improvement plans to life.
This grant is designed to support businesses that have already engaged with the programme and have a clear action plan in place.
✅ Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, your business must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a micro or small enterprise (employing up to 49 people)
- Operate independently on the high street or elsewhere within Bassetlaw District
- Have engaged in support through the High Street Business Support Programme
- Have a robust action plan developed with a Business Adviser, identifying a need for grant funding

Not have received this grant in a previous round
