East Midlands Manufacturing Network
East Midlands Chamber leads the East Midlands Manufacturing Network. It unites local manufacturing companies, enabling its members to harness the cross-industry, business, engineering and manufacturing knowledge necessary to evolve and expand. Members are provided with opportunities to share their experiences with other industry professionals and obtain unique insights into new technologies, resources and information.
The network – which is exclusive to manufacturers – is designed for business owners, directors and senior leaders who take a strategic overall responsibility to grow their business.
It is being delivered through a series of local forums in the Derbyshire Dales and High Peak, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, North Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. Regardless of where their business is based, delegates may choose the network most convenient for them to attend.
The next meeting for North Nottinghamshire is 20 September at NTU University Centre, Vision West Nottinghamshire College.
Free access to the Zellar sustainability platform
To help businesses on their journey to reducing their carbon footprint, East Midlands Chamber is investing in 400 one-year Zellar sustainability platform licences (worth up to £600 each).
The platform helps businesses calculate and manage their carbon footprint, measure their performance, and create a decarbonisation plan.
Zellar is hosting dedicated online drop-in sessions for this project every Wednesday at 2pm, showing how best to use the platform to achieve sustainability goals.
