New Testing site as Bassetlaw rates increase
With Covid-19 rates in Bassetlaw currently the highest in Nottinghamshire, we’re urging people over 18 to get a rapid Covid test. One in three people have Covid-19 and don’t have symptoms, but can still infect others.
Rapid lateral flow testing for people without symptoms helps to identify those who are positive, so they can take steps to reduce the spread of the virus to other people. If you test positive on your rapid test, you and anyone you live with will need to self-isolate and order a follow-up PCR test as soon as possible.
A mobile unit offering rapid, lateral flow tests will be available at:
- Old Market Square in Worksop, Outside the Savoy Cinema
- Friday 23 – Saturday 24 July from 10am – 4.30pm
- Mondays – Saturdays, 10am – 4.30pm, starting 26 July for the next three weeks
Residents can also use the rapid, lateral flow test site at:
- Retford Town Hall (Buttermarket), 17 The Square, Retford, Tuesday to Friday
Test kits can also be ordered online to be delivered to your home, from the Pharmacy Collect service and Community Collect service.
