2021 Employer Skills Survey
D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), working with Serco, is seeking the views of local employers on the challenges of getting the skills they need following the pandemic, particularly at higher skills levels. The research findings will help shape the development of free training to support productivity in local industries.
We are keen to hear from employers of all sizes (including sole traders) and from all sectors. Please share your views by completing a short survey (10-15 minutes).
A 50p donation for each completed survey response (for the first 200 responses) will be made to the Good Things Foundation ( registered charity number 1165209) which supports digitally and socially excluded people to improve their lives through digital. Those completing the survey can opt to receive a copy of the findings once published.
Fit to Supply - in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council
The East Midlands Chamber of Commerce would like to highlight a series of free to attend online sessions, delivered in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, for those businesses who want to improve and expand business development opportunities and to make themselves supply chain fit. The sessions will provide an understanding of what potential opportunities are available and how to ensure that your business can comply with the demands of the procurement process either as a direct supplier or in the supply chain.
As the Government plans to bring forward infrastructure investment, promising to “build back better, build back greener, build back faster” - this is the time to ensure your business is ready to take advantage of these opportunities and be fit to supply.

Child Care provision survey
Concerned that there may be little Child Care running in Worksop over the summer holidays, the staff at Sir Edmund Hillary Primary School are running a consultation process to find out if there is sufficient interest in making this provision possible. It will be open to people across Worksop and not just to those children attending the school, but we need to know that it is a viable proposition first.
Please follow the attached link to complete the form expressing an interest. The school will be in touch later in June to let you know whether they are able to open or not.
