For the past eleven years, Basildon Council has proudly hosted the Basildon Skills Show – an annual event dedicated to helping young people make informed decisions about their next career steps and raise the profile of the opportunities available in and around Basildon. Thanks to the support of partners, the Basildon Skills Show has grown to become one of the premier skills and career events for young people in the region.
In 2024, 1,600 residents benefitted from specialist advice, information and knowledge of local opportunities. Funding from sponsors plays a key role in the success of each event – enabling the Basildon Skills Show to host more exhibitors and reach more young people as the event continues to grow.
In 2025, a large portion of sponsorship will fund coaches, working with local schools, to arrange dedicated time for their pupils to meet training providers, employers and educational institutes between 9am and 2pm. The Basildon Skills Show will also be open to the general public to attend 3pm-6pm.
Details of the available sponsorship packages can be found here.
For further information about sponsorship opportunities at this event, please contact Sarah.Clark@basildon.gov.uk
Additionally, the booking link is now live for businesses to have a stall at this year's Basildon Skills Show.
