Have your say - Basildon town centre early engagement consultation

Town Centre

Basildon Council has launched an early engagement consultation to help us understand what you want for the future of Basildon town centre.

We want to ensure that we get the right balance of the things that matter most to local residents and businesses so that the town thrives and continues to be an asset to local communities. We recognise that changes will need to happen to make this a reality, and your views are important in this process.

We want to start a conversation that will help us to better understand your expectations as a resident or business and how you would approach some of the challenges we face in redesigning Basildon Town Centre for the future.  This survey is the start of that conversation.

The survey closes on 7 July - please complete it and have your voice heard.

Collect self-test kits from libraries and pharmacies

Let's keep covid in check

By testing regularly before big days out or special moments in, we can protect ourselves, each other and the life we love.

If everyone in Essex chooses to do the same, we keep Covid in check, together.

Pop into a local library or pharmacy to collect self-test kits for your family. Alternatively, you can order self-test kits to your home on GOV.UK.

Businesses with 50 employees or fewer can also set up workplace testing for those who can’t work from home.
