Join our flagship introductory improvement programme, where you will learn the basics of Quality Improvement skills, with the flexibility to work around your busy schedule.
QI Establish is our new and improved version of the long running and highly popular 'Introduction to Improvement' programme.
The programme consists of a launch call, followed by e-learning modules which can be completed at your own pace over a period of 3 months.
All those completing the modules are encouraged to attend the one of our coaching sessions to help apply your learning in your own work environment.
After completing QI Establish, you will also be able to progress on to our QI Evolve programme, which has a greater emphasis on developing as an improvement leader.
QI Establish starts on 4 October.
The Team
QI Establish is designed and delivered by our Safety and Mortality, Capability and Person Centred Care team.

On 1 September, the Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign team officially transferred to Aqua from NHS England. We were delighted to welcome our new colleagues to the Aqua office on 4 and 5 September for their induction.
We had a brilliant couple of days with our QSIR colleagues, getting to know each other, building relationships and planning for the future.
We discussed our goals and achievements, cultures, customers, the Aqua strategy, and the QSIR team also had the chance to meet with members of our Lived Experience Panel.
The induction has made us incredibly excited for the opportunities to come, and the positive impact that we can make on health and care services around the country.

Measuring for Improvement starts on 14 September.
In this programme, you will learn which charts to use for displaying different types of data, and how you can turn this data into intelligence that you can act upon.
You will then have the opportunity to discuss your own measurement project, receiving advice form our expert analysts, by joining one of our Monthly Data Drop Ins, the next of which will take place on 21 September.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to take you measurement skills to the next level!
Our Collaborative Masterclasses are a series of events focused on areas of transformational change and new care models.
Our next masterclass is: Strengthening Our Sector: How we can harness our community assets through effective community leadership, taking place on Friday 15 September 2023, 9:15am - 12:00pm.
In this masterclass we will explore asset-based community development, consider ways to encourage engagement and co-production, enable leaders to understand when to apply co-production, hear from people that are demanding co-production, and consider what skills and behaviours leaders need to be effective.
We will be joined by Cormac Russell, Founding Director of Nurture Development and a member of the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Institute at DePaul University, Chicago. Over the past 25 years, Cormac has trained communities, agencies, NGOs and governments in ABCD and other community-based approaches in 35 countries around the world.
