Dundee FC Players Visit Carnoustie High School to Inspire Language Learning
Carnoustie High School were thrilled to welcome Dundee FC’s Mohamed Sylla, Ziyad Larkeche, and Billy Koumetio recently for a special event highlighting the value of language learning. The visit was inspired by an S2 French project featuring Mo Sylla and linked to an S4's work placement with the club’s media team.
All originally from Paris, the players spent the afternoon speaking with young people in S2, who had prepared questions about their careers, routines and the importance of learning languages. As Billy Koumetio put it, “Learning languages is not just for travel, but for life – to be able to talk to other people and work as a team.”
Thank you to Dundee FC and the players!
