Every moment matters in fostering!
The countdown is on with Foster Care Fortnight set to return from 13 to 26 May.
This year’s theme revolves around fostering moments and during the fortnight we’ll be celebrating the moments that shape fostering journeys, change the lives of children and young people no matter how big or small.
A recent #FosteringMoment from one of our carers was...
"Seeing the young person we've been supporting for nearly 10 years get accepted to start an apprenticeship in joinery."
It’s not always been easy, but they are delighted to see how much he has developed over the years and are very proud of his achievement. As the young person is too!
Keep your eyes peeled for posts on social media, as we’ll be sharing more fostering moments and information during the fortnight. And listen out for our advert on Tay FM featuring carers Shane and Claire!
