  Time is running out to apply for School Age Payment
Have you checked if you could apply for the Best Start Grant School Age Payment? This one-off payment of £294.70 helps with the costs of getting children ready for primary school.
It is for wee ones born between 1 March 2018 and 29 February 2019. Parents and carers who do not get Scottish Child Payment but get tax credits or certain benefits may also be eligible.
Applications for Best Start Grant School Age Payments close on 29 February.

Scottish Youth Elections (SYP) in Angus are open!
If you know a young person aged 12–25, please encourage them to vote in the SYP elections in Angus.
They can vote using their Young Scot Card, through the Young Scot website.
Elections run until 7 February with results announced on 9 February.
