Tomorrow (Tuesday 8 August) sees young people receiving their SQA results in the post. For those who activated their MySQA accounts, they'll get their results by text.
Convener of Children and Learning Committee, Cllr Lynne Devine has a message for young people getting their results:
“With SQA exam results coming out tomorrow (Tuesday 8 August), I know it’s a very nervous yet exciting time and want to wish you all the best. I also know that you will have worked hard and we all appreciate your dedication.
“Remember, these results are just one steppingstone in your journey. We believe in your ability to excel in whatever you choose, whether it be continuing education, vocational training or entering the world of work. If you don't get the results you wanted, please remember that there is help out there for you.
“I would also like to thank our staff for their dedicated and creative work in ensuring that our young people were well prepared for the exam diet, and of course our parents and carers for the ongoing support they provide to their children and our schools.”

Appeals
If after receiving their results an awarded grade for a subject(s) does not seem right, young people have the opportunity to appeal. SQA's appeals service opens on Tuesday 8 August 2023.
SQA also have an appeals decision tree tool. It’s a great way to help you work out if you're considering appealing. You can find out more in SQA's Appeals Guide.
