Families who qualify for free school meals based on financial criteria will receive a single direct payment of £22 to cover the Spring holidays. This payment will be in bank accounts on, or around, Friday 31 March 2023.
You will receive a payment if you have a child currently in:
- P1-P5 who is in receipt of school clothing grant.
- P6-S6 who is in receipt of free school meals during term time.
If you are not already in receipt of school clothing grant or free school meals you can check if you’re eligible and apply on our website.
The search is on to find the most inspiring young people in Scotland and give them recognition for their amazing achievements.
If you know an individual, group or team aged 11-26 who deserves to be recognised, why not nominate them for a Young Scot Award?
It's free to enter. Find out more about the categories and how to nominate on the Young Scot Awards website.
