It’s Scottish Apprenticeship Week next week, which gives us a chance to share and you to find out all you need to know about apprenticeships, the benefits, who can do them and the support available for those ready to start.

Angus Training Group (ATG) Engineering Apprenticeships Open Day
Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 March, 10:30am to 11:30am - ATG, Catherine Street, Arbroath DD11 1RL
ATG Engineering is hosting open days for anyone interested in applying or to find out more about their engineering modern apprenticeship. You'll also get a tour of the workshop to give you an idea of the different areas of engineering covered. Application forms will be available on the day.

Many of our secondary schools are hosting apprenticeship related events during Scottish Apprenticeship Week in collaboration with local and national employers. You'll hear about these directly from your child's school.

There are a few online sessions running throughout the week where you can find out about how to apply for apprenticeships. These are for parents, carers or young people.

We're committed to providing apprenticeship opportunities for young people within Angus. Our Modern Apprenticeship (MA) scheme give young people the chance to learn skills, gain experience and complete a recognised qualification all while earning a salary.
