ANGUSalive holiday activities
ANGUSalive has launched their holiday activities for summer 2021. It includes watersports, guided walks, bikes, orienteering, animation workshop, the list goes on and on – fun for all ages!

New Wild South Esk trail
Pupils from Southesk Primary School in Montrose recently launched a new 50 mile long trail from the River South Esk’s ‘Source to Sea” which takes you on an adventure at 10 sites from the majestic Cairngorms Mountains to Montrose Basin Local Nature Reserve and the North Sea.
The trail which can be accessed from various locations in Angus, shares an insight into the life history of 40 native species, 15 local walks and various cycle paths, supporting access to the river and outdoor spaces. Accessibility has been improved at two of the sites to ensure access for locals and visitors of all abilities.

ANGUSalive’s Great Book Getaway
Get away with a good book this summer by taking part in ANGUSalive’s Summer Reading Challenge.
The reading challenge will run from 28 June to 15 August 2021. Online registration for the event opens on Wednesday 23 June 2021.
What about visiting one of our award winning beaches?
The beaches at Arbroath West Links, Carnoustie, Lunan Bay, Monifieth, Montrose and East Haven were all recently recognised with the Scotland's Beach Award.

 Angus Cycle Hub has lots planned over the summer holidays, including free bike hire, essential skills training, guided bike rides, free Dr bike service and intro to eBikes and guided eBike ride.
On Sunday 4 July they’ll be at Ladyloan Primary School in Arbroath with a MTB skills track, toddler track, crazy bikes and more!
