The Farm Fresh Initiative created by the Texas Agriculture to encourage young Texans to eat more fresh and local foods. The Initiative is focused on gardens, educational opportunities and incorporating local products into meals. The goal is to create positive relationships between Texas children and local food.

Bright Minds Academy is a childcare, preschool, and Spanish learning center with three locations in Amarillo for infants to 5-year-olds and one location in Bushland, Texas for toddlers to 5-year-olds. With individualized attention, a nurturing environment and extracurricular activities, they provide everything children need to excel in their early-childhood education.
Bright Minds Academy is locally owned and operated by Joanna Lowe, a Texas Certified Teacher with 10 years of teaching experience in the Amarillo School District. After years of childcare experience and working closely with Joanna, Makayla Oberlin, opened her own preschool in Bushland. She has successfully brought a much-needed service to the Bushland community.

Kids Kollege is a Licensed Center located in Canyon, Texas. They are licensed for 85 children and accept children 18 months to 4 years. The director is Tiffany Whigham. The program has 25 part time staff members with 5 open classrooms.
The program had their Recertification and earned a 3 Star Texas Rising Star Certification. Tiffany Lewis and Christie Wall are the Mentors.

McLellan Learning Center is one of 7 locations of Children's Learning Centers of Amarillo, Inc. Newly remodeled, McLellan serves children ages 6 weeks through 10 years. At the heart of the center is Pam Bagley, who has been Director for the past 28 years. McLellan employs 14 staff and is licensed for 125 children. McLellan is a 4-star TRS center and participates in Texas School Ready for Toddlers. Fun fact: many children's parents also attended McLellan growing up!
The program had their Recertification and earned a 4 Star Texas Rising Star Certification. Marissa Moore is the Mentor.

Paula Cook has a Licensed Child Care Home located in Perryton, Texas with a total capacity of 12 children and serves all ages. Paula Cook has been a Licensed Child Care Home since 2019.
The program earned a 4 Star Texas Rising Star Certification. Rhonda Hodges is the Mentor.
