The Woodlands Township invites the community to celebrate the next chapter of the Town Center Trolleys at a special Grand Trolley Reveal!
Saturday, November 7, 2026 The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Southside Trolley Stop 10 to 11 a.m.
The Grand Trolley Reveal will take place at the Town Center Trolley boarding point along the southern edge of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, near The Woodlands Waterway. Residents are invited to see the new trolleys, discover their new names and be among the first to climb aboard!
The Woodlands Township will introduce the six new Town Center trolleys, featuring refreshed graphics and names inspired by community submissions through the Trolley Naming Contest held earlier this year. The event will also recognize the creative young artists who participated in the Trolley Coloring Contest.
The Trolley Naming Contest resulted in 20 winning submissions, while the Trolley Coloring Contest recognized 12 winners across four age groups: ages 0–3, 4–7, 8–11 and 12–15. The four first-place coloring contest winners will be announced ahead of the Grand Trolley Reveal.
Residents are encouraged to join the Township in welcoming the new trolley fleet, explore the updated designs and take photos with the newly named trolleys.
A Ride Through The Woodlands For almost 20 years, the Town Center Trolley has provided residents and visitors with a convenient, free way to explore The Woodlands and connect to popular destinations throughout the community.
Today, the free Town Center Trolleys serve destinations including Hughes Landing, Market Street, The Woodlands Mall and The Woodlands Waterway, making it easy to shop, dine, attend events and explore Town Center without having to drive between destinations.
Trolleys normally operate seven days a week. Riders can also use the real-time trolley tracking map to see exactly where the trolleys are along the route and plan their trip.
