Respect the Path by Keeping Your Head Up and Phones Down
As part of its yearly National Night Out campaign, The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services Department continues Project 365. This year’s focus is on safe pathway use through the Respect the Path initiative. Each month highlights a new topic to support the year’s theme. March’s focus, Head Up, Phones Down, encourages people to stay alert on pathways by minimizing distractions. Paying attention and putting away phones greatly reduces the risk of accidents.

Sign Up for Vacation Watch
Relax easily during your upcoming trips by signing up for Vacation Watch. This program allows patrol deputies to check on your home while you are away. If something out of the ordinary is found, the emergency contact provided will be notified. The frequency of these checks will be based upon the emergency call volume for your area. Active calls for service will always take priority.

Small Steps for Peace of Mind
The Woodlands Township, in partnership with local law enforcement, strongly encourages residents to take proactive steps to stay aware and prepared. A home security checklist serves as a valuable tool that can help in reducing risk to yourself, your family and home while helping to minimize the chances of being targeted for a home burglary.
