New Pickleball Courts Open
The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the completion of new dedicated pickleball courts at Creekwood and Windvale Park. Creekwood Park now features five dedicated pickleball courts, while Windvale Park offers six new dedicated courts. These join the original eight courts at Falconwing Park, The Woodlands’ first dedicated pickleball complex, bringing the total number of dedicated courts across the community to 19.
To reserve pickleball courts, call either the Recreation Center at Bear Branch, 281-210-3950 or Rob Fleming, 281-516-7348. Same-day reservations are also available online. Courts are open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Honoring Park Rangers' Service
World Park Ranger Day, celebrated on July 31, is a special opportunity to honor the dedication, bravery and vital work of park rangers around the globe. These everyday heroes safeguard wildlife, conserve ecosystems and protect the natural and cultural treasures found in parks and protected areas—all while helping residents and visitors explore safely and responsibly. Their role is essential to preserving the beauty and integrity of our outdoor spaces. This day also serves as a solemn reminder of those rangers who have been injured or lost their lives in the line of duty. Join us in recognizing and celebrating the rangers who make our outdoor adventures possible.
