Strategic Planning In Review
Residents can watch full video recordings of The Woodlands Township Board of Directors Strategic Planning Workshop, held May 12–13, on the Township website at thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/meetingvideos. During the two-day session, the Board engaged in thoughtful discussions and established key areas of focus for the coming years. Strategic priorities included public safety, economic development, fiscal responsibility, transportation, tourism, resident engagement and quality of life services. The workshop outlined the Board’s vision and strategic priorities that will help shape the 2026 budget and future planning.
Celebrating Creativity and Community Focus
The Woodlands Township Communications Department earned top honors at the highly competitive 2025 TAMIO Awards, bringing home two accolades. The team won first place for The Woodlands Community Magazine, recognized for its striking redesign and strong community focus, and took third for its creative and memorable 50th Anniversary Celebration campaign.
“These awards reflect the strength of our communications efforts and the commitment of our staff,” said Township Chairman Brad Bailey. “The Woodlands Community Magazine continues to be our most important outreach tool, delivering trusted updates directly to residents’ homes. The Board remains committed to supporting high-quality communication that reflects the excellence of our community.”
 Waterway Nights Summer Series
Join the Township for live music and great vibes every Saturday night through June 28, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 31 Waterway Square Place. This lively FREE event, hosted by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, offers the perfect setting for a fun night out! Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
