Working Together to Keep Our Neighborhoods Safe & Secure
As part of the annual National Night Out Campaign, this year's Project 365 theme is Aware & Prepared, focused on keeping community partnerships strong through encouraging residents to work together to keep our neighborhoods safe and secure. Each month throughout the year, the Neighborhood Services Department centralizes its efforts on focus areas to expand upon the Project 365 theme. June 2025 features Emergency Preparedness.
Stay Informed & Make a Plan
Emergencies can come without warning! Residents are encouraged to develop emergency preparedness plans for their families and neighbors. The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services along with The Woodlands Fire Department can assist residents with these plans through its ReadyWoodlands program, which provides information on how to be prepared for both natural and man-made emergencies.
 Fired Up Tours Continue
Experience the lights and sirens of public safety, explore a fire truck and police vehicle. Bring your whole family for a tour of The Woodlands fire stations and enjoy a morning of fun and excitement! All Fired Up Tours take place from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Saturday, June 7 - Station #6 (1100 Windsor Lakes Blvd.)
- Saturday, June 14 - Station #4 (7900 Bay Branch Dr.)
- Saturday, June 21 - Station #7 (26722 Kuykendahl Rd.)
- Saturday, June 28 - Central Fire Station (9951 Grogan's Mill Rd.)
 Give the Gift of Life
The Neighborhood Services Department hosts several community blood drives throughout the year to encourage residents to give back in a meaningful way. The simple act of donating blood not only saves lives, it is a convenient opportunity for neighbors to support local hospitals and patients in need. Your contribution helps strengthen our community's emergency readiness and spirit of care. Be the lifeline someone may be desperately waiting for! Protect What Matters While You're Away
Ensure peace of mind while you travel by taking advantage of the Vacation Watch program. Law enforcement deputies will periodically drive by your home, ensuring its security and investigating any suspicious activity. If anything unusual is detected, you and/or your emergency contact will be promptly notified. Please note that the frequency of these checks depends on the call volume in the area, with active service calls taking priority. For a vacation checklist and links to sign up for Vacation Watch with your local law enforcement agency, visit the Neighborhood Services webpage and click "Vacation Watch."
