Let's Ask Covenants, "What are the guidelines for installing basketball goals?"

Residents are reminded to follow The Woodlands Township guidelines for the placement of basketball goals to ensure safety and compliance with neighborhood standards.

Freestanding and portable basketball goals must be positioned at least 20 feet from the street pavement edge or placed no less than halfway up the driveway or adjacent to the dwelling or garage. Basketball goals may not be placed on any easements.

Permanent basketball goals may be mounted to the residence or installed on a pole at least 20 feet from the street edge.
