Traffic Impact: March 1, 2025

Residents are advised to expect traffic delays on Saturday, March 1, 2025, due to The Woodlands Marathon and Half Marathon. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for runners and attendees, traffic in and around the racecourses will be impacted from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Motorists are strongly advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes during these hours. Please note, this is not a Township event. For questions or concerns, please contact the race organizers at 281-939-7490 or by email at admin@thewoodlandsmarathon.com.

New Route Enhances Convenience

Starting March 1, 2025, the Town Center Trolley in The Woodlands will expand its route with two new stops, improving accessibility to key attractions and public parking areas like the Green Lot Pavilion, Riva Row Boat House, and special event parking near The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This free service allows visitors to park once and enjoy scenic transportation to destinations such as Market Street, The Woodlands Mall, Hughes Landing, and Waterway Square. With ample space for belongings and first-come, first-served seating, the trolley offers a hassle-free way to explore concerts, festivals and events.

Celebrate Spring with a Splash

Spraygrounds open Saturday, March 1, 2025! All spraygrounds operate 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. Water playgrounds, also known as spraygrounds, provide great opportunities for outdoor family fun. No matter how hot it gets, people of all ages can enjoy splashing in these colorful and imaginative water amenities. The six spraygrounds, managed by The Woodlands Township, will open daily for the 2025 season, starting March 1 through October 31, 2025.

All the spraygrounds in The Woodlands feature whimsical designs and are sure to capture the creativity of young children at play. Best of all, they are conveniently located close to rentable pavilions or seating areas in their respective parks and are extremely popular destinations for birthday parties, play groups, picnics, and other celebrations throughout the season.

Let's Ask Covenants, "What are the rules regarding keeping pets outside?"

A maximum of three household pets may be kept outside of the home at any given time.

To provide a secure space for pets to move freely without a leash, owners may use an animal run. Common examples include dog runs, chicken runs or enclosed cat patios.

Additionally, an animal house may be placed on the property to serve as a shelter for animals. These structures can exist with or without an attached animal run. Each property is limited to a combined total of two animal runs and/or animal houses. If housing chickens, no more than three chickens may be kept within an animal run or animal house. (Roosters are not permitted.)
