The Woodlands Township has been named a Silver Level Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists and is now the highest ranked bicycle friendly community in Texas.
The League of American Bicyclists honored the efforts of The Woodlands Township to build better places for people to bike with a Silver-level Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) award. The Woodlands Township joins 460 communities across the country in the movement for safer streets and better bicycling for everyone. The award recognizes the Township for its commitment to creating transportation and recreational resources that benefit its residents of all ages and abilities while encouraging healthier and more sustainable transportation choices.  Swan Boat Hours Update
Currently, the Swan Boats at the Mall location and Riva Row Boat House are temporarily unavailable. The Riva Row Swan Boats will be back starting February 3, 2025, while the Mall location will reopen on February 24, 2025. Guests looking to glide gracefully across the water during this period will have to plan accordingly.
Once the Swans at the Mall resume operations, they will welcome visitors every weekend, operating from Friday to Sunday between 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This schedule not only makes it easy for families and friends to incorporate the Swan Boat ride into their weekend plans but also provides a memorable way to create special moments along the picturesque Waterway. The Swan Boats are truly an exceptional weekend activity that captures the beauty and tranquility of The Woodlands while offering an enjoyable experience on The Woodlands Waterway.
