Veterans Day Tribute

Residents and visitors alike are invited to honor and recognize the military men and women who have served our nation at the Veterans Day Tribute on Monday, November 11, 2024, starting at 4 p.m., at Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan's Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

The event will feature a presentation of colors, musical performances, remarks by local dignitaries and the Village Troop donation challenge. Throughout the event, a Care Package Drop-Off station will be available to collect donations of recommended items for our troops overseas.

Shred Day and Electronics Recycling Drive-Thru!

Join us Saturday, November 16, 2024, for an opportunity to conveniently dispose of both your unwanted documents and electronics at our upcoming Shred Day and Electronics Recycling Drive- Thru! Ensure your data is protected, both digitally and on paper, by taking advantage of this responsible, safe recycling event.

This event will only be recycling of paper documents and electronics. To all our super recyclers, the 3R Drive Thru is moving to the spring season. The 3R Drive-Thru will occur on March 22, 2025. Stay tuned for more information after the new year! If you have recyclables that you’d like to dispose of prior to March, check out our Recycle More Guide for batteries, lightbulbs, textiles and other items.

Living in The Woodlands is all about embracing a sense of community and respecting the Covenants and Standards that keep our neighborhoods beautiful. During the holiday season, we can show our festive spirit with lights and decorations while being mindful of our neighbors. Thoughtfully placed lights and timely removal after the season are small steps that make a big difference, creating a welcoming atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.

Winter holiday decorations and lights may be illuminated no earlier than the second Monday in November through January 15 of the following year.
