Four at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be elected in the November 2024 election, designated as positions 1, 2, 3, and 4. To vote in The Woodlands Township election, you must be a registered voter in the county of your residence and a resident of The Woodlands Township.  Township Board of Directors Meeting
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. The meeting is open and the public is invited to attend. For those unable to attend in person, meetings are livestreamed on the Township website.

50th Anniversary Grand Celebration and Wildflower Festival
On October 19, The Woodlands celebrates its 50th anniversary! Two great events are happening at Northshore Park. The Wildflower Festival, from noon to 4 p.m., offers hundreds of wildflower seed packets and features a variety of family-friendly activities. Stick around or return later for the Grand Celebration, where the arcade and Ferris wheel will open for more excitement.
The Grand public celebration, produced by The Woodlands Township, will take place at Northshore Park and the Hughes Landing Band Shell. This free, family-friendly event starts at 5 p.m. and will conclude with a spectacular high-tech drone and fireworks show over Lake Woodlands, presented by Woodforest National Bank and Waste Connections.
