Residents are invited to go green at Woodlands Landscaping Solutions, a beloved community event that provides resources for sustainable landscaping. Stay in green mode with the GreenUp Fall Sweep and help keep The Woodlands beautiful throughout the month of October. Discover Landscaping Best Practices

The 27th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive. This free event is dedicated to promoting sustainable landscaping practices. Woodlands Landscaping Solutions offers residents an opportunity to learn from experts on creating landscapes that are both beautiful and environmentally friendly.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

Take a stroll back to Renaissance times as The Woodlands Township Arts in the Park presents Shakespeare in the Park on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park. The event will feature a live theatre performance by Points North Theatre Company and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra Brass and Percussion sections. Activities include Renaissance-themed costume contests, children's arts and crafts, face painting, local vendors, strolling entertainment and much more. The evening concludes with a free live performance of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” open to audiences of all ages.

The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile race, 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and One 4 Texas Kids' Fun Run through The Woodlands will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, beginning at 7 a.m. The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas race is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event with a certified 10-mile course. Limited spaces remain for runners; lace up your running shoes and race to register before the event is full. There will be no Race Day registration!

This awareness helps you to immediately spot when something might be out of the ordinary for your neighbors or your surroundings. If you ever see something unusual or suspicious, report it to local law enforcement, but leave intervention measures to trained professionals to keep yourself safe.

Make it a point to participate in National Night Out on Sunday, October 6, 2024, and get to know your neighbors. By knowing one another, we can help to keep our community safer.
