 Board Adopts 2024 Tax Rate
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors adopted the 2025 budget and the 2024 property tax rate of $0.1714 per $100 of taxable value following a public hearing held on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The approved budget not only maintains the Township’s current high level of services but also introduces several key initiatives aimed at enhancing community services. With responsible fiscal management, these initiatives will support the continued growth and vitality of The Woodlands while addressing the evolving needs of our residents.
 Remember the Fallen
The Woodlands Township will host Patriot Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 7:30 to 8 a.m., at Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380. The community is invited to attend the ceremony honoring the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Limited parking is available onsite at Central Fire Station. The event will also be streamed live on The Woodlands Township Fire Department’s Facebook page.

The Woodlands Township invites you to join us for the fall series of Concert in the Park, kicking off with a performance by Texas Sundown Band on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Dr. This free family event is fun for all ages! Please note, coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
 Communications Wins Savvy Award
The Woodlands Township Communications Department won a Savvy Award for its weekly Talk of The Township E-newsletter at the City-County Communications & Marketing Association’s (3CMA) 2024 annual conference. The international first-place award was presented on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in Arlington, Texas, and recognizes outstanding achievement in marketing and communications within local governments across the United States and Canada.
