Township Holds Budget Workshops

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will hold their annual Budget Workshop sessions beginning on Monday, August 19, 2024. The meetings are open for the public to attend and will be held at Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd.

Celebrate Labor Day in The Woodlands

The Woodlands Township invites residents to celebrate Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square, 31 Waterway Square Place. This free event offers live music by Rule 77 (Variety), children’s activities, strolling entertainment, pie-eating contests and fireworks (weather permitting). Pie-eating contests, sponsored by House of Pies, will be open to both youth and adults. Those interested will be able to sign up for the eating contests onsite, but space is very limited. Early arrival is highly encouraged to ensure a spot in the contests.

While our furry family members bring us a great deal of joy, it is important to keep their safety and the safety of others in mind when out and about, particularly on walks.

Walking your pet on a leash prevents your pet from approaching other animals who may not be friendly, reduces the likelihood of an unintended negative interaction with another person and ensures that your furry friend can't bolt into a street and potentially incur harm or get separated from you.

If you see an unfamiliar dog or cat running loose, please contact Animal Control in your county of residence. They can assist with reuniting pets with lost humans. The best option to prevent these types of situations is to be a good neighbor and leash your pet.
