Take the 2024 Bicycle Friendly Community Public Survey
The Woodlands Township invites all community members familiar with bicycling in the area to participate in a survey conducted by the Bicycle Friendly America Program. This survey aims to gather insights into local bicyclists' experiences and perceptions, providing valuable feedback that will assist both The League of American Bicyclists and The Woodlands Township in understanding current conditions and identifying areas for enhancement.
The survey will be open through Tuesday, October 15, 2024. The results of the Bicycle Friendly Community award are expected in December 2024.
 Volunteer Opportunities
As we've seen in recent weeks, natural disasters and other emergencies require all hands on deck to recover. During a local disaster, volunteers often staff shelters and emergency response locations. Become a resource during disasters and help locally or elsewhere by volunteering with the American Red Cross. Register through the Red Cross Volunteer Connection.
 Keep Cool at the Pools
Beginning on August 14, 2024, all Township pool facilities will shift to their post-season schedule. Continuing through September 2, 2024, Alden Bridge will be the weekday pool. Nine pools will be open during the weekends: Alden Bridge Pool, Cranebrook Pool, Creekwood Pool, Falconwing Pool, Harper's Landing Pool, Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, Sawmill Pool, Shadowbend Pool and Wendtwoods Pool. Make the most of the last weeks of summer and stay cool at the pools!
