Submit Your Contest Entry

The Woodlands Township invites residents to submit their poster designs for the 2024 National Night Out Campaign as part of the 40-year Neighborhood Watch celebration. Beginning July 10, 2024, entries can be turned in at The Woodlands Township office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The top three artists from each category will be on display at the NNO Packet Pick Up Day. The deadline to submit posters is July 31, 2024, by 5 p.m. 

Stay Cool at the Pools

Trying to beat the heat this summer? The Woodlands Township is home to 14 community pools and six spraygrounds. Pools feature a variety of amenities including slides, play structures, water spray features, lap lanes and more. Township Aquatics also hosts a variety of pool events and programs including Pop at the Pool, Dive In Movie Night and the High Seas Adventure. Are you looking for the perfect summer job? Need extra spending money? Love spending time by the pool? We are still accepting lifeguard applications for the 2024 summer season. Interested applicants can apply easily online.

Be Weather-Aware

Hurricane season is well underway with several named storms in recent weeks including Hurricane Beryl. While meteorologists continue to track this storm's path and potential impact, please take this opportunity to review your emergency checklist and ensure that your hurricane kit is fully stocked. UPCOMING EVENTS

 While some people love laying by the pool during the warmer months and others love hitting the pickleball courts, one thing we can all agree on: mosquitoes are one of the worst parts of summer. But we can all  help to make these pests unwelcome in our neighborhood!

• Remove standing water around your yard. Empty plant saucers and any other receptacles where water can collect.
• Cut high grass and trim overgrown vegetation.
• Treat unused pools and hot tubs with Mosquito Dunks.
• Wear repellent, particularly at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active.

Together, we can make our neighborhoods inhospitable for mosquitoes.
