From wildlife searching for food to children playing at their local playground, every resident has likely encountered litter at one point or another. Even with passionate and engaged community members, litter is often still present in green spaces, where it is not only an eyesore but a genuine threat to the health and well-being of the ecosystem. Improperly disposed of trash pollutes our soil, water and air and is frequently mistaken for food by wildlife.
That’s where you come in! Be a Good Neighbor by picking up litter when you see it!
