If you receive unemployment documents from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) but haven’t signed up for Electronic Correspondence (EC), consider the following benefits:
For more information about EC, please read our Electronic Correspondence User Guide. If you do not want to sign up for EC, you should specify a designated address. A designated address is a single mailing address where TWC sends all unemployment documents. For more information about designating an address, please read our Other Services User Guide. TWC is experiencing an increase in unemployment insurance fraud. Employers commonly are some of the first to discover fraudulent unemployment claims. If you suspect unemployment insurance fraud, please access the Reporting Fraud webpage. If you have difficulties accessing or using the online portal to report ID theft, please send an email to TWC.fraud@twc.state.tx.us or leave a message at the TWC Fraud Hotline at 800-252-3642. |
