 Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Brazos Nights on Friday, May 2 in downtown Waco, featuring Norteño cumbia band De Parranda and three-time Grammy-winning Tejano musician and accordionist Sunny Sauceda.
Watch Sauceda’s Brazos Nights performance at 7:30 p.m. at Indian Spring Park, followed by De Parranda at 9 p.m. Admission is free, and the event and vendors open at 6 p.m.

 The City of Waco general election will be held on Saturday, May 3 to determine the representative for District Five on City Council. The positions for Districts Two and Four are running unopposed.

 Waco Regional Airport would like to remind you that starting May 7, 2025, to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities, your drivers license or state-issued ID must be a REAL ID — or you’ll need another acceptable form of identification like a U.S. passport.
REAL ID compliant drivers license or state-issued ID cards in Texas will have a star within a gold circle on the upper right portion of the card.
