Spring cleaning means major yard work and gardening! The City of Waco picks up green bins every other week, but lots of people don’t know we’ll pick up more than that. In addition to your carts, you can create a brush pile no larger than 4’x4’x4’ or use up to 20 paper yard waste bags for leaves and clippings.
Just place the brush on the curb and be sure to put five feet between brush piles and any objects like trees and mailboxes. Unlike bulky waste pickups, you don't need to submit a request. We'll pick up your brush pile or paper yard waste bags on the same day we pick up your green bin.
City of Waco offices will be closed for the spring holiday on Friday, April 18. Residents with a Friday trash collection day will have their gray waste carts and green yard waste carts collected earlier on Wednesday, April 16.
