Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Bring your live Christmas tree to be mulched at Extraco Event Center (4601 Bosque Blvd) on January 4th from 8 am to 12 pm!

This Christmas tree mulch can be utilized in your yard and garden, and it helps keep trees from ending up in the landfill. Be sure to take all lights and decorations off the tree beforehand.

This event is open to the public, and no reservation is needed.

Cant Make the Event?

City of Waco Solid Waste can pick up Christmas trees from your curb on any green week in January. Remember to remove all decorations before putting the tree at your curb.

District 5 Cleanup

Dispose of unwanted bulky items and yard waste at no additional cost. Place your unwanted items at the curb on your designated date, and we'll pick it up!
Find your district, find your date and put your items out by 7 a.m. on your date. It's that simple.
No registration is required.

Join the City of Waco on January 16th at 10:00 am as we celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for the exciting transformation of the Bledsoe-Miller Community Center into a state-of-the-art STEAM Center for Excellence!

The ceremony will be held at 300 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd and will feature a brief program outlining the City of Waco's vision for the STEAM Center and light refreshments.
