Offices Closed for the Holiday City of Waco offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving. Residents with a Thursday trash collection day will have their gray waste carts and blue recycling carts collected earlier on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Trash pick up will run as normal on Friday.
 Pet Circle Regional Animal Center is partnering with Raising Cane's - Franklin Avenue to bring you a fun-filled pet adoption event! Join us from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 to meet your new furry friend!

 Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization is requesting feedback on their draft of the . The public comment period is open for 30 days starting Monday, Nov. 25, through Dec. 25.
Two public informational meetings with a virtual attendance option will be held on Dec. 16 at noon and at 5 p.m. Both in-person meetings will be held at the Dr. Mae Jackson Development Center, 401 Franklin Ave. You can also submit feedback using the online form.
 Dispose of unwanted bulky items and yard waste at no additional cost. Place your unwanted items at the curb on your designated date, and we'll pick it up! Find your district, find your date and put your items out by 7 a.m. on your date. It's that simple.
