The annual Ironman 70.3 Waco event is set to return on Sunday, October 6. The event will attract approximately 7,500 athletes and spectators and will be headquartered at Indian Spring Park. Setup, equipment deliveries, and pre-race road closures in front of Indian Spring Park have already begun.
Complete road closures will include University Parks Drive/Cameron Park Drive and the Washington Street Bridge. There will be other periodic delays — but not complete closures — along the race route. The bike race route will travel toward Robinson and turn around in Chilton. (Routes will not travel in the China Spring area.)
