McLennan County's annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive brings together the Waco Police Department, Waco Fire Department, and McLennan County's Sheriff's Office for a friendly competition.
The campaign honors our local first responder agencies and helps ensure our local blood supply is protected. When you donate at a designated blood drive donation site, you can vote for your favorite first responder agency. The team with the most votes and donations will receive this year's trophy. No matter who wins, we all win!
Donating blood is one of the most important things you can do. When you donate, you can save up to 3 adult lives or 6 infant lives. In the United States someone needs a blood transfusion every 2 seconds. Your donation can and will save a life.
Successful blood donations will receive varying thank you gifts at different locations, while supplies last! Select a location to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome.
National Night Out is celebrating its 40th anniversary and will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Events can feature games, decorations, food, drinks, and more, or simply provide an opportunity for neighbors to socialize.
Register your NNO party to receive a visit from members of the Waco Police Department!
