Waco Downtown Farmers Market
SATURDAY MORNINGS, 9am-1pm, 500 Washington Ave. Support our local farmers and artisans by buying locally grown and produced goods. Waco Friends of the Climate will distribute FREE Red Mulberry seedlings (carbon sinks) at the April 20 Farmers Market. Also check out electric vehicles on display at the April 24 Wednesday Night Farmers Market at the Bridge Street Plaza (200 E. Bridge St) from 5-8pm.
Discovery Activity: Plant Kit
APRIL 10-13, During open hours at Urban REAP Join us this April to plant seeds to take home! We will have veggie, flower and herb seeds available to plant in repurposed egg cartons as planters. Come learn what seeds grow in the spring and how to take care of your own plants. Our Discovery Activities are free and family-friendly DIY activities available the second week of every month. Supplies are available during our open hours, with staff available to answer questions as needed.

Lunch with the Masters: April Showers Bring May Flowers

This is especially true with our recent drought and what looks to be another very hot and dry summer.
