Happy Thanksgiving from your City of Tyler Council

Don Warren - Mayor

I am thankful for my wonderful family, my wife, two daughters, their husbands and seven grandchildren. Thankful for good health and waking up every day doing what I love and being surrounded by many great friends. Lastly, I am thankful for the City of Tyler staff and the council I get to work with every day. I love living life and thankful I feel that way!

Stuart Hene - District 1

I am thankful I get the opportunity to serve and participate in the collaboration of continuing to make Tyler, Texas the best place to live, work, and visit. It is an honor to help promote trust and accountability between our City and its great residents, advocate for a safe community, and utilize our resources to maintain the citizens' best interests. More importantly, I am thankful for each and every City of Tyler employee. You are the backbone of our City, and without each of you, Tyler would not be the place that it is. From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.

Broderick McGee - District 2

I’m thankful for my life, health, and family and for God’s unwavering grace and mercy that He shows me on a daily basis.

Shirley McKellar - District 3

I am thankful for my family, friends and the Tyler community. I wish everyone a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving!

James Wynne - District 4

I am thankful for my wife Sharon and our three children Madeline, Chet and Russell. I am thankful that I get to live, serve, attend church and work in such a wonderful place, Tyler. We are truly blessed to live in such an oasis. I am thankful for the wonderful folks at the City who I serve with in my capacity as a City councilman. They are the ones that make Tyler the great City that it is. And finally, I wish everyone a safe and joy filled Thanksgiving.

Bob Westbrook - District 5

It was said recently that, “Tyler is the last great place to live." I believe it is a result of the efforts of the incredible City Team! Our Called to SERVE spirit is the core of our culture. I’m most thankful for them all and their families. Happy Thanksgiving!

Brad Curtis - District 6

I am thankful for my family. Suzanne and I are excited to host our combined family members for Thanksgiving this year including our two granddaughters. I am also thankful for my City. Though Tyler is no longer a small city, it is still very much a strongly knit community where people still consider one another their neighbor. I wish all our residents, City employees and my fellow Council members a bountiful Thanksgiving.
