Rose City Community Cookbook

Until Dec. 1

We are so excited to be creating a community cookbook! Upload your recipes and include a picture and story. This is the beginning stages, but once we have enough, we hope to publish it and make it available online.

80s Trivia

Nov. 17 at 7:15 p.m.

Come to the Library for a night of trivia! Go back to the 80s, and remember all your favorite movies, music, commercials your nostalgia you can handle! Reserve your spot today!

80s Skate Escape Room

Nov. 18 and 19. Times vary.

Skate back to the 80s! Try to solve puzzles to solve the mystery and see if you can escape. Geared towards adults. Registration Required.

A Christmas Carol Experience

Dec. 8 to 10. Times vary.

Come step into A Christmas Carol! Walkthrough live scenes of this classic story. If you're interested in helping, please reach out to RBennett@TylerTexas.com.

Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.: We kick it off with an extra special evening. Santa Claus will be present with refreshments and crafts for everyone.

Friday, Dec. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m.: Crafts and refreshments will be available.

Saturday, Dec. 10 from 1 to 7 p.m.: Crafts and refreshments will be available.

Please note: Santa is only visiting Thursday evening.

Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Suggested for ages 0 to 18 months.

Toddler Time

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Suggested for ages 18 to 36 months.

Preschool Story Time

Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Suggested for ages 3 to 6 years.

STEAM Saturday

Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.

Kids in grades K through 12 will learn how to make gears and how they work.

Sew What

Nov. 1 and 8 at 4:30 p.m.

Introduction to hand sewing.

STEM Club with Code Ninjas

Nov. 19 at 3 p.m.

Kids in Grades K through 12 can join Code Ninja sensei's to learn about architecture by building a haunted house!

Makerspace Programs

Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.

Homeschool Libratory: Building Bridges
Kids ages 5 to 12 can come learn about bridges and how they are constructed.

Adult Programs

Quilting

Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the Makerspace.

Open Door Writing Group

Wednesdays at noon in the Makerspace.

Club Read

Monthly Book Club that meets the last Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Auditorium.

Chess Club

First Saturday at 10:15 a.m. in the Makerspace.

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library fund all library programs and special events. They are a 501(c)3 organization. If you'd like to help fund future programs, join the Friends!

The Friends meet the second Thursday of every month at 4 p.m. in the Makerspace.
